It’s Friday again, February now, and here in LA, it’s stereotypically 72 degrees and sunny. There’s no narrative intrigue in a picture of the textureless blue sky, stretched out like a swatch of commercially-produced fabric. Why photograph it? Maybe because it’s nice to reject the concept of composition. Maybe because it just is.
